How to get rare Krillion answers

The first word in your head is also in everyone else's. That is the Plankton trap. You still have to be right — Krillion does not reward a gorgeous miss.

  1. Skip the obvious, then sanity-check. Spend two seconds on the crowd answer. Spend the rest hunting a cousin of that answer from another cuisine, era, or taxonomy.
  2. Map the category, then pick a corner. Regions, decades, scientific families, and adjacent media franchises are where Deep Cuts hide.
  3. Bank a safe Schooler if the clock is dying. Thirty points beat zero. Submit the Schooler you know rather than a speculative One in a Krillion you cannot spell.
  4. Review yesterday. The archive is a rarity gym. Seeing what actually landed Rare calibrates your instincts faster than any tip list.

Practice rounds live on the unlimited page. The daily dive is still the only score that is shared with everyone on Earth.

Then use the Answer Finder on yesterday’s prompt to see what “rare” actually looked like — not a generic tips list.
