Best Krillion strategy for a 25-second clock

Krillion is not a trivia quiz. You have seven prompts and about 25 seconds each. The scoreboard pays for scarcity, not for being first to type “Cup.” Other companion sites publish the same public list after 04:00 UTC. That list is the exam paper. This page is the plan we actually run.

The rule we use on every prompt

1. Name the Plankton word in your head. Do not type it. Ten points is a surface skim.
2. Among accepted answers worth 60–100, pick the one you can spell in about two seconds.
3. If the One in a Krillion is a long or hyphenated spelling you might miss, skip it. A Deep Cut you can type beats a +100 you mistype to zero.
4. If nothing rare is already in your fingers, bank a Schooler. Thirty beats a timeout.

How Daily Krillion ranks a pick

We never change official scores. 10 / 15 / 30 / 60 / 85 / 100 stay as the game graded them. On top of that sheet we score each accepted word by rarity × typeEase: short, one-word, A–Z spellings rank above long phrases and punctuation, and Too Clever answers are treated as risky. The “25-second pick” on today’s run and on each prompt page is that ranking, not a copy of someone else’s dump.

Search a question the way you would ask it — “name something you drink out of” — and you should land on our pick, the Plankton words to skip, and only then the full public list.

What to do live vs after the reveal

During the dive: play first. Do not open an answers page with 12 seconds left. After 04:00 UTC: open Krillion answers today for the seven typeable picks, or the 700 run builder if you want to swap a trench spelling. The dated archive keeps the public rarity sheet as a record.
