Rarity in Krillion is empirical, not aesthetic. The game already knows the accepted catalog for a prompt. After you submit, your word is graded against how often other valid answers showed up — and against a human-reviewed list of what even counts.
That is why “apple” can be Plankton under name a fruit with a core while “medlar” sits alone in One in a Krillion. Both are fruit. Only one is the trench.
How to read a sheet

Too Clever is the misunderstood middle. It is not a fail. It is a 15-point nod that your answer squeezed through a loophole. A Schooler still beats a busted 100-point swing.
